Management will ensure that this policy is effective throughout the company and periodically will review the policy to ensure that it remains appropriate to the company’s activities.

Protection of the health and safety of employees and contractors from unacceptable risks takes priority over economic considerations and will not be compromised. To this end we will:

• Evaluate HSE risks associated with client activities and products and take appropriate action to minimise potential risks
• Ensure that all employees and contractors are aware of and incorporates HSE considerations in their day-to-day activities
• Promote a positive safety culture and environmental awareness throughout all levels of the company
• Safety is a core value of the company and all employees and contractors are expected to be responsible for their own safety and that of their colleagues and have due regard to the safety of the wider community
• HSE training of employees and contractors where appropriate forms part of the company’s operations
• The company neither expects or requests its employees, contractors or others with which it interacts to perform any duties that may be unsafe or unhealthy for people or which may cause avoidable environmental harm
• The company will practice effective injury management support programmes to optimise the recovery and the return to gainful and productive employment of its employees and contractors
• The company prohibits the unauthorised use and possession of alcohol or illegal drugs and the misuse of prescribed drugs, by its employees, contractors and others whilst engaged in company business
